Biography:

Affleck first came to public attention as the co-writer and co-star of 1997’s Oscar-winning movie, “Good Will Hunting.” But prior to that film, he had already enjoyed a long career as a child actor with numerous credits to his name. “Good Will Hunting” thrust him and long-time friend Matt Damon deep into the spotlight and led to starring roles in many blockbuster films.

His personal life, notably his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, became the stuff of tabloid fodder. But now that he’s married to actress Jennifer Garner, his private life has become just that — private.

As 2006 heads into 2007, Affleck appears poised to make a comeback with his role as the late George Reeves in “Hollywoodland” and his second film as director, “Gone, Baby, Gone.”
