
Finesse Mitchell was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and is a graduate of the University of Miami. As a student athlete and brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., he fostered his ability to feel comfortable performing in the spotlight. Mitchell entered his first comedy contest in 1995, winning first place. Since that day, he's been making people laugh for a living, and in 2003 he joined the SNL cast.
Mitchell has also appeared on NBC's "Late Friday," CBS's "The Late Show with Craig Kilborn," and can be seen regularly on BET's "Comic View." He performs at college campuses across the country, as well as some of America's hottest comedy clubs including The Miami Improv, The Atlanta Punchline, ACME Comedy Club in Minneapolis, and in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, and The Laugh Factory.
