About Uri Geller

Uri Geller is the world's most-investigated and celebrated paranormalist. Famous around the globe for his mind-bending psychic abilities, he has led a unique life shrouded in debate, controversy and mystery.

Geller, a relative of Sigmund Freud, has been studied by many scientists, including those who worked with Albert Einstein. He has traveled the world stopping clocks on command, exhibiting telepathy and bending spoons with his mind, which is his trademark.

Geller came into prominence in the 1970s by astounding audiences with his ability to exhibit telepathic powers. His fame led him to be researched by scientists at the Stanford Research Institute. They studied Geller in an attempt to dissect his work and gain an understanding of his abilities. This research resulted in the prestigious scientific magazine Nature publishing a paper on Geller's work. As a result of the notoriety he received from the paper, Geller is referenced in more then 1,250 different books.

Additionally, Geller is the author of 15 bestsellers, including the novels "Ella" (which will soon be turned into a major feature film) and "Dead Cold," the latter having been listed as a contender for the Golden Dagger Award by the Times in the United Kingdom.

Geller has used his unique talents with numerous high-level government agencies and has lectured to the directors and CEOs of large multi-national and Fortune 500 companies around the world.

Many celebrities have befriended and sought advice from Geller and he has assisted in their artistic endeavors. Geller's drawings are featured on both Belinda Carlisle's and Michael Jackson's albums. He is also responsible for designing the logo of the most successful boy band in the world, N*SYNC. Over the years, Geller has had ties to celebrities including Elton John, John Lennon, Whoopi Goldberg and Salvador Dali, among others.

Geller's tireless dedication to charitable work led to his appointment as the Honorary Vice President of the Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol and of the Royal Berkshire Hospital in England. Geller is a patron of Climb for Tibet together with the Dalai Lama.

Geller is the father of a 22-year-old daughter and a 23-year-old son.
