NBC DAYTIME MOURNS THE LOSS OF JAMES E. REILLY
James E. Reilly, 60, passed away over the weekend after complications from cardiac surgery. The award-winning writer created PASSIONS and served as the headwriter on DAYS OF OUR LIVES for many years. NBC Daytime mourns his loss and offers deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

GALEN GERING AND ERIC MARTSOLF JOIN THE CAST OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Galen Gering will be joining the cast of Days of our Lives as an FBI Agent who comes to Salem working on a special case.
Eric Martsolf will be taking on the role of "Brady Black" and will return to Salem to settle unresolved issues with "Chloe."
Gering will first appear in Salem at the end of October, and Martsolf in mid-November.

Tracey Ross (Dr. Eve Russell) and
Brook Kerr (Whitney) have been nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama. This is Tracey's ninth nomination for her role on PASSIONS. Tracey won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama in 2007. This is Brook's first nomination.
The 39th NAACP Image Awards will be broadcast live on Fox Television on Thursday, February 14th.
