This past fall, Jason Smilovic served as an executive producer on NBC's "Bionic Woman," that starred Michelle Ryan, Miguel Ferrer and Molly Price. Prior to his work on that series, he created the serialized drama "Kidnapped," starring Jeremy Sisto, Delroy Lindo, Timothy Hutton and Dana Delany. He also created and executive- produced "Karen Sisco," which starred Carla Gugino and Robert Forster. Based on characters from Elmore Leonard's novel "Out of Sight" and its Steven Soderbergh film adaptation, "Sisco" made the then 28-year-old Smilovic one of the youngest show creators in dramatic TV.
On the feature -film side, Smilovic wrote "Lucky Number Slevin," directed by Paul McGuigan and starring Bruce Willis, Sir Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, Stanley Tucci and Josh Hartnett. The film was produced by Robert Kravis and Tyler Mitchell, now partners with Smilovic in Dark & Stormy Entertainment.
Prior to coming to Los Angeles, Smilovic admits he was known as "the best valet parker in the New York Tri-State area."
