What is a fun fact about your child and husband that wasn't revealed on the show?
Both of them love to watch scary movies but are then afraid to be at home/room alone in the dark.
Were you more nervous for your child or your husband while watching the show and why?
I was more nervous for my son. He has always been on winning teams whether it's soccer, football, swimming....I knew if he lost the quiz round, he would be experiencing a lost for the first time and on national television.
Any interest in participating if the show was called My Mom is Better Than Your Mom?
I think it takes a special kind of person to participate on games shows. Although I would be interested in watching a show called My Mom is Better Than Your Mom, I would not be interested in participating. I'll leave that for my competitive men.
What was the most surprising moment of the show for you?
The most surprising moment is when my husband seemed to have lost all his strength on the Uphill Battle. He's physically fit and very aware of what he's capable of accomplishing. I did not believe that he would have a problem with any of the events ...so I knew something was wrong. I later found out that he had done a belly flop which knocked the wind out of him when sliding down the Uphill Battle challenge.
What do you think was tougher for your husband to do: participate in the challenges or answer the questions?
Although my husband welcomes both physical and mental challenges, I think the physical challenge was tougher than he thought.
Who do you think posed as the toughest competition and why?
I think all the competitors had their strong points and weak points. No one person was able to win all events.
Do you think the show brought your child and husband closer and why?
Yes, most definitely. Not just my son and husband but the entire family. This was something that my son as well as my daughter can tell their children about ....and so on. This is one of those “remember when” stories that will include: love, embarrassment and laughter.
