From Emmy Award-winning executive producer, creator and director Glenn Gordon Caron ("Moonlighting") comes "Medium," a popular, chilling drama series inspired by the real-life story of research medium Allison DuBois. Emmy winner Patricia Arquette ("Stigmata," "Flirting with Disaster") stars for a fifth season as an extraordinary young wife and mother who, since childhood, has struggled to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people. To date, Arquette's work in this critically acclaimed series has received numerous accolades, including the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and many subsequent Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG nominations.

Allison Dubois (Arquette) is a strong-willed, devoted young wife and mother of three girls, ranging from 16 to 5 years old, who has gradually come to grips with her extraordinary ability to talk to dead people, see current events and the future through her dreams and read people's thoughts.

This season, Allison and her family's world begins to return to normalcy, now that both of the Dubois are employed and her abilities are publicly known. With Manuel Devalos' (Miguel Sandoval, "Jurassic Park") re-election to the D.A.'s office, Allison has returned as a part-time consultant, using her psychic abilities to solve violent and horrifying crimes that baffle Phoenix police and others within the criminal justice system. Jake Weber ("Meet Joe Black") stars as Allison's supportive husband Joe, who is launching his own scientific engineering company. Sofia Vassilieva ("Eloise at the Plaza") and Maria Lark ("10.5") star as Ariel and Bridget, the two eldest Dubois children, both of whom share their mother's abilities to varying, expanding degrees. David Cubitt ("10.5: Apocalypse") stars as Detective Lee Scanlon, Allison's longtime ally in the local police department, who will soon confront some surprising personal and professional challenges. Twins Madison and Miranda Carabello play the youngest daughter, Marie Dubois.

This season also marks Arquette's directorial debut, on an episode entitled "A Person Of Interest." She joins co-star Sandoval who is set to direct his third episode.

Caron is creator and executive producer. Kelsey Grammer ("Girlfriends"), Steve Stark and Oscar winner Ronald L. Schwary ("Ordinary People") are executive producers. "Medium" is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television in association with Picturemaker Productions, Inc and Grammnet Productions.
