Joey, Season Four

Fill us in on what you've been up to since your season of LCS ended?

I was detained in Guantanamo Bay for two and a half years. It's cool though... I'm gonna turn it into a one man show.

How did LCS change your life?

Last Comic changed my life in only positive ways. I met good people, I traveled and my Mom got to brag a little bit. It has been an absolute blessing. This statement is very very safe as far as show business goes; it has the added benefit of being the truth.

What's it like being on the road? Is being a professional comic all it's cracked up to be? No pun intended.

Being out on the road is for a very specific animal. You have to let go of reasonable expectations and live for the experience of being on stage. If you are looking for reason to be on the road it is like looking for pizza in a hardware store. When it is there... it's not for you. :)

Tell us a funny LCS story that fans never got to see happen on air?

Bill Dwyer lost his mind after a night of sleep deprivation and demanded cappuccinos in a threatening manner. I grew up in Brooklyn I was educated more in a schoolyard than in a school. So whenever you see a dude who's a game show host about to get gully over steamed milk beverages it's a giggle. Bill is an awesome guy. He is the type of guy you would like to drink beer with and introduce to your ugly sister. For your own good please don't mess with his caffeine intake if he hasn't had eight hours sleep.

Any parting words of advice to would-be comedians?

If you're listening to others, this is not for you. Give up if you don't think I'm a jackass.
