Fill us in on what you've been up to since your season of LCS ended?
I moved in with the girl I was texting. Nine months later we had a baby Blackberry =)
How did LCS change your life?
I can't really say it changed my life. I was already a working comedian.
What's it like being on the road? Is being a professional comic all it's cracked up to be? No pun intended.
It's great! I'm on the road with friends performing 300+ shows a year from LA to NYC. We stay in the nicest hotels and eat like kings. I was born to do this.
Tell us a funny LCS story that fans never got to see happen on air?
We would meet for meals in the same place on the Queen Mary. The servers on the ship were all Mexicans. They loved me because I spoke to them in Spanish and cracked jokes. I had made real good friends with one of the head servers, Gustavo. I told him I didn't like the food that much because it was banquet food. He asked what I liked and I said I love fast food. He said they didn't have any. I must have made a real sad face because the next day for breakfast Gustavo brought me two McGriddles and hash browns from McDonald's that I ate off camera in the restroom. I tipped him 100 bucks and said "thank you." He brought me fast food every day until the day I got kicked off. A month after I got kicked off the show I went back to the Queen Mary and found my buddy still working there. I gave him another 100 bucks and took him a bag of McDonald's. He asked me why I got kicked off the show. I said I snuck in a cell phone. He said if I wanted to order a pizza I should have asked him. He had jokes too. =)
Any parting words of advice to would-be comedians?
