Since arriving in Los Angeles four years ago, Whitney Cummings has taken the town by storm, appearing on the big screen, the small screen and even on the 'net. Whitney will next be seen opposite Michelle Monaghan and Patrick Dempsey in Sony's "Made of Honor," which hits theatres in May 2008. She also has a recurring role on the HBO series "Tell Me You Love Me." When she's not on the set, she's performing her hilarious stand-up act in comedy clubs across the country.
Originally from Washington D.C., Cummings graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in just three years. One of her first jobs after arriving in LA was to work for Ashton Kutcher as one of his "agents" on his hit MTV series "Punk'd," playing pranks on actors like Adam Brody, The Rock, Kaley Cuoco and Jennifer Love Hewitt. She went on to work as a panelist for VH1's "Best Week Ever" and participate in several programs for the E! Network and the TV Guide Channel. She also hosted the popular Sundance Channel series "Festival Diaries" for three years and appears on "Last Call with Carson Daly" as a correspondent.
Cummings guest-starred opposite Barry Watson on ABC's "What About Brian" and has appeared on the big screen in the films EMR, 7-10 Split and Grizzly Park.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
