Stand-up comedienne Alycia Cooper is a headlining comic who performs on national television shows and is a huge hit on the college circuit. For the past six years, Alycia has ghostwritten for some of the biggest comics in the business.
She has been a featured comic on "BET's Comicview," Comedy Central's "Wanda Does It," several VH-1 clips shows, and BET's "Oh Drama." She recently played a feisty bus driver in the movie "Knocked Down," and is the star of a new Internet series called "The Party Psychic." She is currently touring the country performing comedy while trying to sell her version of Kathy Griffin's "D List," about her life as a struggling comic trying to make it in Hollywood, which can be seen on the Koldcast.tv network.
Alycia has written for "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," Russell Simmons' "One World Music Beat," and UPN's hit sitcom, "The Parkers." She holds the title of the first female audience "warm-up" person for several sitcoms, including "The Parkers," "Girlfriends," "Wanda at Large," and "The Tyra Banks Show." In May of 2004, Alycia was featured in "Essence Magazine" as one to watch!
