Helping to "find the funny" this season on Last Comic Standing as a talent scout in San Francisco is actor French Stewart.

Perhaps best known for his role as alien Harry Solomon in the NBC hit series "3rd Rock from the Sun," Emmy nominee French Stewart has moved seamlessly from television to film to the theater.

Stewart recently finished shooting "Happy Campers," a pilot for ABC Family, and also has recurring roles on both "The Closer" and "Cavemen." Other guest appearances include "Bones," "Pepper Dennis," "CSI: Las Vegas," "Less Than Perfect," "That 70s Show," "Ally McBeal," "News Radio," "Just Shoot Me" and "Seinfeld." He was the Emmy Award-nominated voice of Icarus in the animated television series "Hercules," and also lent his voice to the character Bob in the animated series "God, The Devil and Bob."

On the big screen, Stewart's film credits include "Leaving Las Vegas," "Stargate," "Glory Daze" and "Dick." Additionally, Stewart starred in "Clockstoppers," "Love Stinks," "Inspector Gadget 2," and "Wedding Daze." He recently finished shooting, "Surveillance," "Diamond Dog," "If I Had Known I was a Genius" and "The Flock."

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stewart graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While touring extensively, performing the classics, he received critical acclaim in the Grove Shakespeare Festival's landmark production of "A Comedy of Errors." Additionally, Stewart received numerous accolades in South Coast Repertory's staging of "Romeo and Juliet" and "Richard III."

In 1988, Stewart became a member of the Cast Theater in Los Angeles. He performed numerous stage productions with them for five years, including the cult hit "Zombie Attack." Stewart won two L.A. Weekly awards for his performances in Justin Tanners' "Party Mix" and "Happy Time X'mas." In the past, Stewart has returned to the Cast Theater for benefit performances of "Pot Mom" and "Still Life with a Vacuum Cleaner Salesman" with Laurie Metcalf.

Stewart resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Katherine LaNasa.
