Now in its ninth season, NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" breaks out of the traditional talk show format by introducing a gritty and innovative documentary style to late-night television. Host Carson Daly gives audiences a unique perspective -- unlike any other late-night show -- by taking the viewer outside of the studio hosting the show on location each night. From Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Venice California, touring Chelsea Brewery Company in New York, to the water taxis of Chicago…Carson takes his viewers to undiscovered locations and new hot spots across the U.S.
Past highlights include Daly's motorcycle trip across the historic Route 66, a visit to comedian Tom Green's house in the Hollywood Hills, and an impromptu hang at the Whiskey Bar with the Grammy Award-winning band Kings of Leon.
Last Call with Carson Daly is the premiere location for new celebrity talent. Directors Jason Reitman and Tomm Moore, actresses Allison Brie and Emmanuelle Chriqui, and actors Jared Leto and David Duchovny are just a few examples of the innovative young stars that have appeared on Last Call.
Daly has always been a trendsetter when it comes to introducing new musical talent and fresh tracks to a wider audience -- firmly placing "Last Call" at the forefront of today's evolving music scene. Many successful acts such as Maroon 5, The Killers, Katy Perry, Asher Roth, Ray LaMontagne and Gavin DeGraw have made network TV debuts on "Last Call." Carson also highlights accomplishments on the music scene such as 2010 Grammy winner David Guetta. Rappers Snoop Doog, T.I., Akon, Kenna, have already appeared in the ninth season.
Along with new musical artists and celebrities on the rise, “Last Call” profiles extreme athletes like Red Bull’s Miles Daisher and Olympian Evan Lysacek, debuting artists such as Zach Hyman and Danny Setiawan, and amazing heartfelt stories such as porn star turned artist Jennie Ketcham.
"Last Call with Carson Daly" is produced by Universal Media Studios. Stewart Bailey and Guy Oseary are the executive producers.
