How do I vote?
There are 2 ways to vote for Grease, You’re The One That I Want each week: toll-free and online. Each of the contestants/performers will be assigned his or her own toll-free number (e.g. 1-888-I-VOTE-01 for contestant 1, 1-888-I-VOTE-02 for contestant 2) during the show. To vote, simply watch Grease, You’re The One That I Want on NBC on Sunday nights (see local listings for times in your area) and at the end of the show dial the number of the contestant for whom you wish to vote. Or, log on to www.NBC.com/grease and follow the links to vote online. You may vote up to 10 times online per e-mail address or up to 200 times via telephone. The Producers reserve the right to disqualify, block or remove any votes from an individual who votes using any electronic, mechanical or automated means, or otherwise tampers with the vote process (see the Is there ever a time when votes I cast may not count? section)

Who can vote?
Anyone calling or voting online from within Continental US, Hawaii and Alaska can cast their vote(s) for Grease, You’re The One That I Want. To vote online, you must be 13 years of age or older.
When can I vote?
Online voting via www.nbc.com/grease will be open each Sunday at the following times:

All times are local to the location listed. Outside of these times the toll-free lines will play a busy signal and your call will not count as a vote. A vote window is determined by the phone number which resides in a time zone as defined above.
How many times can I vote?
You may vote up to 10 times via online voting and up to 200 times via toll-free telephone voting. Any additional votes you attempt to cast above these limits will NOT count. The Producers reserve the right to disqualify, block or remove any votes from any individual who votes by any electronic, mechanical or automated means, or otherwise tampers with the vote process. How much does it cost to vote?
Telephone calls to the Grease, You’re The One That I Want voting lines are toll-free from landlines. If you used a wireless phone to call, airtime and applicable roaming and long distance charges may apply. Contact your cell phone service provider if you want to know how much you will be charged. Voting online is free except for your normal internet access charges.
Can I vote using my cell phone?
Yes, you can vote using a cell phone, although airtime and applicable roaming charges will apply to toll-free numbers called from wireless phones. Contact your cell phone service provider if you want to know how much you will be charged.
If you are calling from a cell phone and you are physically located in a different time zone from your cell phone’s area code, the systems will accept or reject your vote based on the time zone of your cell phone area code. For example, if you have a New York cell phone area code but are calling from Los Angeles immediately following the Los Angeles broadcast, you will be voting outside the East Coast voting window and your vote will not be accepted. Try calling again from a landline during the West Coast vote window. Or, try voting online.
What will I hear if I call the toll-free numbers?
Voting opens just before the end of the show – if you call before then you will hear a busy signal and your vote will not count. Voting via toll-free remains open for up to 2 hours after the show, subject to local time zone and broadcast feed limitations (see the When can I vote? section). During each vote window, the phone message will confirm the contestant number for whom you have voted. The contestant numbers are directly related to the order in which they perform on the show. After the voting window closes, no more votes will be accepted and lines will play a busy signal.
Can I vote using a payphone?
Votes from payphones will be blocked. To vote for your favorite contestant, use a standard landline or cell phone, or vote online. Charges may apply when using your cell phone.
How do I vote on the internet?
Internet voting will be open during the times stated above (see the When can I vote? section). To vote, log on to www.nbc.com/grease and follow the links to vote. Then, select for whom you wish to vote from the list of contestants. If done correctly, you will get a message on your screen thanking you for voting. You must be over 13 to vote online. You may vote up to 10 times online any attempts over 10 will not count. Outside of the vote window, the online vote page will not appear and you will not be able to cast your vote.
How do I find out the results?
The results will be revealed during the following week’s show, airing Sundays on NBC. Check your local listings for show times.
Is there ever a time when votes I cast may not count?
The Producers reserve the right to disqualify, block or remove any votes from an individual who votes using any electronic, mechanical or automated means, or otherwise tampers with the vote process. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or website, tamper with the voting process, or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the voting is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Are there any other guidelines governing my vote?
BBC Worldwide, Global Hybrid Productions LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., and/or Telescope, Inc. and their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities and persons, (collectively, the "Sponsors") are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any damages that may occur as a result of my participation in the vote, including but not limited to difficulties, failures or malfunctions of phones (including wireless phones/handsets), phone lines or telephone systems or other communications malfunctions; cellular equipment towers, telephone systems or wireless services; interrupted or unavailable network, server; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion or for any technical problem which may cause the voting to be disrupted or corrupted.
If for any reason the voting is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, the Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to withdraw the transmission of any vote or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules, and to terminate or suspend voting at any point and declare the First Choice based on the votes up to that point, if it appears that the voting process has been so distorted by hacking or other interference that the results would not reflect actual valid votes should the polling continue. In the event of technical difficulties with the online voting or cell phone voting, Sponsors reserve the right to review the votes for accuracy and to take any appropriate action, including, without limitation, voiding the votes cast during the time period in which such technical difficulties occurred. Sponsors and their respective agents, officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this vote. Sponsors are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of voting information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, for any human or electronic error, or for votes that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, or late.
These rules are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. Without in any way limiting the foregoing, the Sponsors reserve the right to change the limit on the number of votes, in the Sponsors' sole discretion. Notification regarding any such change will be posted at www.nbc.com/grease
