Aimee Teegarden portrays Julie Taylor, daughter of Dillon High School's head football coach Eric Taylor, in the NBC television drama "Friday Night Lights."

Born and raised in Southern California, Teegarden grew up knowing that acting and modeling were her true passions. She began modeling and acting at the age of ten, and since then she has modeled for campaigns including Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, and the national print campaign for Hollister.

Teegarden's television appearances include "Cold Case," Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana."

In addition to acting and modeling, Teegarden enjoys surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, boxing and hanging out with the love of her life, her dog Gizmo.

Teegarden resides in Los Angeles. Her birthday is October 10.
