Reality Stars Winner
How was Fear Factor different than your Bachelorette reality show experience?
Well, night and day, really. They were two completely different experiences. Obviously, Fear Factor was quick and fast compared to The Bachelorette. The stunts are there and then over in less than a minute, whereas The Bachelorette was 6 weeks long and involved a lot of emotion; it was more grueling. Fear Factor was a ton more fun and more of the kind of challenges that I like to put myself in. The best way to describe it is that I would do Fear Factor again if given the opportunity and I would not do The Bachelorette again.
Who was your favorite contestant and why?
My favorite contestant was Ethan and Jenna as a pair. If I had to choose one, I would pick Ethan. I really like him, he's a great guy and was there for the same reason I was.
Who was your least favorite contestant and why?
It's the obvious answer: Omarosa. She was much different than me. She made everyone feel uncomfortable and there was always an air of tension when she was around; I don't care for that.
What was the most difficult challenge on Fear Factor?
The water stunt was the most difficult for me. I didn't complete it. I didn't know I would react that way in that situation. The surprise reaction is what made it difficult. I've always watched Fear Factor and thought I could do all the challenges, but then I got in the stunt and reacted differently. I thought I could do it in the beginning, but the fact that you are under water and caged in and try to get breath and you can't...it triggered a panic reaction to call off the stunt...I had no idea I'd have that reaction, so it was an unpleasant surprise.
Did having Trista there inspire you or make you nervous?
It inspired me, it is always nice to have her there...it made me more comfortable.
Were you surprised she drank the blended worms?
No, not really. I think that because it was for a good cause and for charity, she did it. she is a good person and is charitable. I don't think she would have done it for any other reason. In fact, I know she didn't go on the show as a competitor in the first place because of the gross stunt. I was proud of her.
What was your favorite part of the experience and would you do it again?
I enjoyed the experience as a whole and I would definitely do it again. I enjoy the challenge.
Did you have a strategy going into the competition?
No, you can't really plan for this show.
What will you do with the money?
My wife let me get a snowmobile so that is what I did with it. The rest of it will be saved for a rainy day, otherwise known as, Trista.
