SEWER TRANSFER

It took a lot of heart, and cow hearts, for couples contestants Gina and Tommie to endure the noxious, murky sewer water of Fear Factor. Submerged in the mixture of various blended cow and pig parts, roaches, worms and beetles were the cow hearts to be transferred by mouth.

FEAR FACTOR: How badly did the Fear Factor sewer water smell?

GINA: That was sick.

TOMMIE: You could smell it when you came in. It was terrible. It was a pretty nasty smell.

FEAR FACTOR: How long did it take to get rid of the odor?

GINA: I have washed my hair nine times and I still smell.

TOMMIE: We smell. We move and we smell the stuff, still, right now.

GINA: I showered and I was, like, totally reliving the whole thing again. It was all in my face again.

TOMMIE: I kept telling her all the way home, like, you stink. God, you look like crap.

GINA: It was horrible. I had never had so much stench.

FEAR FACTOR: Did you think about quitting?

GINA: I mean don't get me wrong, it's not like, oh, yippee yeah, I'm fixing to stick my head in all this.

TOMMIE: But we were determined. I said, I told her we're gonna finish. We're not going home.

GINA: He didn't think that I was going to be able to do that. He's like, Gina, you don't even eat ranch dressing.

TOMMIE: She dove right in, I couldn't believe it. I'm like, is that my wife, you know?

FEAR FACTOR: Was it difficult to grab the hearts with your mouth?

GINA: Whenever you reach down there and grab one of those hearts, they tear off when you come up. They're so heavy. And there's like fatty parts of the heart. Ugh. And whenever you grab a hold of that you can't see what you're grabbing a hold of. So then I guess there were several times I got the fat in the mouth.

FEAR FACTOR: Where did the hearts land when Tommie tossed them to you?

GINA: You get nailed right in the head.

TOMMIE: Just smacking 'em in her face.
