Angela, a swimsuit and fitness model, went first. She thought she had an advantage over the skinny models because she had some real muscles. But she was wrong. After being dropped into the water with the heavy vest, Angela lasted just 6 seconds before quitting. Back on land, Angela said that she swallowed water almost immediately and couldn't go on. She cried and said that she felt like she failed. Comforting her, Joe said that's because she did fail. But then Joe told her not to take it so hard. Next was Louise, a fashion model from Leeds, England. Louise learned from Angela's mistake and she held her nose as she hit the water. Louise stayed calm and released three of the six latches on the vest, but ran out of air after 34 seconds and quit the stunt. So far, two up and two eliminated. Next was Teresa, a swimsuit model, originally from Taiwan. Teresa wasn't quick, but she was calm and steady. She undid all six latches, removed the vest and got to the surface in 47.7 seconds. Next was Tynisa, who quit after just 8 seconds! Then it was Tanya's turn. She quit after only 9 seconds under the water. And Danushka quit after less than 6 seconds. As the only player to complete the stunt, Teresa won $25,000 on the spot! The remaining money would be up for grabs as all the models returned the next day.
The six models met Joe at a cold and murky swamp. For their second stunt, the women would wade through the swamp, gathering keys. The first key would be in the water. The second key would be in an old rowboat. And the third would be up a tree. Next, the players would have to find the right key to unlock a gated tunnel. Finally, they would have to pull an 8-foot-long, 400- pound alligator out of the tunnel by its tail. The three women who did this the fastest would make it to the finals. Tanya went first - and was not happy about it. After getting only the first key (and being nowhere near the alligator), she quit. Danushka seriously considered not even attempting the stunt. Of all things, she was most afraid of climbing the tree. Well, when she got to the tree, she couldn't make herself climb it and she quit. Angela jumped into the lake with conviction, hoping to make up for the first stunt. She got all three keys and opened the tunnel, but freaked out when she had to grab the alligator. Joe talked her through it and she pulled the gator by its tail, finishing in 5:00. Louise retrieved the keys quickly and earned a time of 4:39.1, guaranteeing her spot in the finals. Tynisa moved slowly and finished in 7:42.5. Teresa had some trouble with the tree and fell off. But she still managed a time of 6:24, putting her into the finals and sending Tynisa home.
Angela, Louise and Teresa met Joe at the docks. For their final stunt, the women would maneuver a set of ropes that dangled from a helicopter, which rotated over the water. The players would move along the ropes, releasing flags as they went. The player who released the most flags in the least amount of time would be the Fear Factor Champion. Teresa went first. After releasing just one flag, she slipped down a rope and couldn't pull herself back up. She let go, falling into the water at 49.7 seconds. Angela did better by releasing 2 flags in 1:20, knocking Teresa out of the competition. Finally, it was up to Louise. She maneuvered gracefully on the ropes and released three flags, winning the remaining $25,000 and the title of Fear Factor Champion!
