Michell, Anna, Obi, Will, Cylysce and Doug arrive in a rural, woodsy setting. In a clearing they find Joe and the Net Jump. Their first task will be to climb a 110-foot tower, step out onto a platform and jump twice their body length into a suspended cargo net. Anna, a UNLV student from Poland, is up first. She tries fudging her height to shorten her jump length... but Fear Factor is on to her! The climb up is scary enough, but jumping off the tiny platform is what really makes Anna quake. No running start is possible, so Anna just goes for it - and can't get a grip. She's out.
Tennessee native Michell is next. She too, misses and is out. Cylysce is the only girl left and is getting nervous. Will is up next. He tests the wind, takes his jump and slides down to the bottom of the net... before grabbing on with one hand! He's done it. Cylysce, who wants to pay off college loans, makes her way up the tower. She slams into the net, rolls to the bottom and tangles herself in it enough to hang on. She's on to the next round! Doug is hoping to supplement his bartending money with a nice, fat cash prize. His jump has gusto and he hangs on tight. Only Obi, a Swede, is left and he can't maintain his grip. Three players remain.
Day two is another day in the woods - or at least a creepy, run-down shack in the woods. Luckily, Joe's got refreshmentsíÈFear Factor Wormtinis! Each player has four minutes to chew and swallow the six live worms in their martini glass. Doug bellies up the bar first, and chomps his way to round three. Cylysce is grossed out, but willing to try. After a brief hesitation she gets them in, but she can't keep them down. After several gagging attempts, Cylysce literally chokes them down and advances! And where there's a Will, there seems to be a way. He apologizes to the worms before chugging them. Each chew looks painful, and he almost tosses them back up, but Will completes the stunt.
The final stunt falls on a dark, eerie night. Deep in the woods, the players arrive at the Tunnel Crawl. They must crawl through a drainage tunnel to the other end - in the fastest time. But along the way, they must overcome claustrophobia, dead ends, roadblocks and rancid water. Doug is up first again. Doug enters the tunnel on his stomach - it is literally pitch black. Infrared cameras allow us to see Doug's actions, but he can't even see his hand in front of his face. After one dead end, he back tracks. Then, he hits a fork in the tunnel and opts to go left. There is plenty of slimy, gross stuff along the bottom, sides and top of the narrow space. One can only imagine the smell. His choice was correct, and Doug emerges with a time of one minute, twenty-eight seconds. Will is next and not looking forward to it. He is moving much slower than Doug, but keeps moving forward. A dead end gets him turned around, and eats up more time. With his eyes closed, Will is using touch as his guide. Time is running out. Finally, Will emerges but it is exactly two minutes past Doug's time. Can Cylycse do better? She moves fast, but gets totally turned around in the darkness. She emerges - back at the start. Exhausted, cold and realizing that her time is limited, she quits. Doug has won.
