The Apprentice's very own Tana was trapped in an airtight submerged box with thousands of live worms, stink beetles, cockroaches and maggots. The bugs crawled all over her as she waited for her partner to release the four cables holding her underwater. It was a harrowing experience as she recounts in this week's Tale Of Fear.
FEAR FACTOR: Were you nervous going into this stunt?
TANA: When I saw those bugs I couldn't believe I had to be in a cage with them. I was just going to grin and bear it and just close my eyes and pray to God they weren’t going to bite too badly.
FEAR FACTOR:Was it as bad as you had imagined?
TANA: It was terrible. I kept cheering for Craig to release me. Every time he had to come up for air my heart would race and I was afraid that he was going to leave me down there. It was the sickest thing I've ever done in my life.
FEAR FACTOR: How bad where the bugs?
TANA: They were just huge and they were nibbling on me and one went in my back crack and one was trying to get in my front crack. I know that I am mentally tough; I knew I could do this. I knew that the bugs weren’t going to eat me and I so I just tried to stay focused.
FEAR FACTOR: What was your strategy?
TANA: I was going to stare at Craig and try and stay focused on him but that wasn't working. The bugs were everywhere and then I saw these little legs right about my eyebrow and I freaked out. It was just freaky man but it had to be done so I was just glad that he got to me fast.
