The Amazing Races Victoria and Jonathan had to make their way through a swamp collecting three skulls from a well, a mud pit, and an alligator cave. With elimination on the line it was a stunt like no other as they recount in this weeks Tale Of Fear.
FEAR FACTOR: What was going on inside the well? Why was it so scary?
VICTORIA: The well the water was a lot deeper than I had thought and I couldn't find the skull and then, I know now what was in the well, which was carp or some kind of slimy fish, but it seemed like a big monster or something, Lockness Monster or something.
FEAR FACTOR: And, Jonathan, you just left Victoria at the well? Was that some kind of strategy?
JONATHAN: Once we were done with the well and Victoria had come up, you know, Joe was saying that I left her. No, I went to turn the boat around cause Victoria said, okay, let's go. When I got to the boat Joe was screaming that I left her. We were ahead of everybody at that point.
FEAR FACTOR: What happened at the Alligator tunnel? You went inside but came right out?
VICTORIA: The Alligator looked like he was turning around. He looked like he was going to come at me. I mean, his mouth was open and he was hissing. Iíve never seen an animal that violent, that close up before. He was clawing. His teeth were out. He was hissing. He had whipped his tail and because the skull went further into the tunnel, it seemed impossible. I made the decision for myself because of his disposition that it wasnít worth the money to be, you know, to be scarred for life.
JONATHAN: My goal at one point, was to go in there, grab the skull, do the task for her and take a penalty but I didnít know if it was worth it.
VICTORIA: I really felt scared for my life.
