Rotten fish and worms arenít usually what come to mind when you think of Miss USA. It certainly was the case for Miss Oklahoma Laci Scott when she found herself having to inch her way through a 30 ft tunnel fighting off blasting water and intentionally dumping gallons of nasty muck all over her. There was no crown of jewels waiting for her at the end of this tunnel as she recounts in this weeks Tale Of Fear.
FEAR FACTOR: What was it like being inside that box?
LACI SCOTT: It was a little claustrophobic and the water was coming at me with such a tremendous amount of force. It was just really hard to get through the tunnel with the water spraying you like that.
FEAR FACTOR: How did you manage to move yourself through the box with the water coming at you like that?
LACI SCOTT: As I said, it was really hard to pull myself through. First, there wasnít anything to hold on to and my hands kept slipping off the side of the box and then with all the water blasting me in the back it became ten times harder! It wasnít easy.
FEAR FACTOR: You forgot to grab the second key. What happened?
LACI SCOTT: When I was pulling on the second bucket, my goggles fell off, so all of the oil came down on my face and into my eyes. I couldnít see anything so I couldnít get the key off the rope. Thatís when I just got really confused. It was so slippery in there and I tried a couple more times but still couldnít get the key off. That part really held me back.
FEAR FACTOR: What was the worst part of the stunt?
LACI SCOTT: I thought I was going to drown when the fish oil came on top of me because it was covering up my eyes and my nose and my mouth and I couldnít breathe.
