THE HAGFISH TRANSFER

After having stayed awake for forty hours straight Dana & Brad faced down one of the worst and smelliest Fear Factor stunts of all time, The Hagfish Transfer! Dana & Brad explain (still without having had any sleep) why pushing these slimy parasitic hagfish through holes in our specially designed Hagfish boxes is no simple task.

FEAR FACTOR: Tell us about the Hagfish stunt?

DANA: I'm sitt'n in the box of Hagfish and they're cold and they're slimy and, very, very slippery. I'm trying to push them through as fast as I can, they're slipp'n in and out of my hands really hard to push them through and get 'em down. Oh, it was so disgusting it was like glue or something it was totally sticky I had a hardest time just moving around and being able to move my arms.

FEAR FACTOR: Take me through your experience of catching them and what you're doing in there?

BRAD: I got in there and 'eh, the stuff is just so cold, I mean, as soon as it touches your skin it's just, you're cringing. Not to mention how sticky it is and the smell is awful. I'm trying to throw it into the box I'm dropping them into the box and they're just not lett'n go of your fingers, you know, and you're trying to wiggle 'em and you're trying to say send the next one down but the stickiness was the toughest part of the whole experience.

FEAR FACTOR: Tell me about your strategy?

DANA: For me I was just trying to pick 'em up as fast as I can and get 'em to the hole even if they were slipp'n and sliding just get 'em and put 'em down there and just shoot 'em off to Brad. People would never understand how nasty this is 'cause it just smells so incredibly bad and it's so sticky and so slimy and just uh, um, unimaginable. We haven't slept for 40-hours but now that we see what we can do we've got our eyes set on that cash and we're gonna pull through and win it.

BRAD: We're both rambling on right now, um, we've been up for quite a long time here I'm a little incoherent but, uh, we're going the, we're going the full route the money's right there we feel it's ours, um, I don't see any-definitely not falling asleep tonight so, see how it goes.
