FEAR FACTOR MINI-GOLF

Miss Michigan Stacey Lee proved that she was tougher than she looks when she bit into a disgusting Sea Cucumber after completing the Fear Factor Miniature golf course in three strokes. She may not be much of a golfer but her iron stomach still managed to make her home state proud.

FEAR FACTOR: Tell us about your background in golf.

STACEY LEE: I have no background in golf. My parents have been tryin' to get me to golf for many years. And when I saw what we had to eat, I wished I had taken some lessons or listened to them. I got lucky on my first shot. I hit the ball hard enough so it could go down through the first hole. And it came down to the area where I needed to get, get it into the second hole.

FEAR FACTOR: How did your second putt go?

STACEY LEE: My second putt was, was pretty good. It got it closer to the hole. I probably could've hit it a little harder in order to make it to the hole. But it was close enough where I would be able to hit it in on my third

FEAR FACTOR: Describe the Sea Cucumber.

STACEY LEE: The smell of it was just horrible. I could smell it when Tara and Jaclyn were eating it. And it made my stomach curdle. It was so slimy and slippery and jelly-like and there was like some kind of juice on top of it that just -- the smell was just -- I haven't smelled anything like that. And picking it up, it was real slimy and slippery. And biting it, it was -- it just tasted like just a whole bunch of salt. And it had like crunchy salt in it and it was hard. It felt like I was gonna chip my tooth eating that thing.

FEAR FACTOR: How did it feel picking it up?

STACEY LEE: Picking it up was very slimy and slippery.

FEAR FACTOR: Did you almost gag at any point?

STACEY LEE: Yes. My, my first bite, I almost gagged. But I was just tryin' to concentrate on something and not think of the smell. I mean, not really smell it. I was holding my breath and chewing at the same time. Every time I bit into it, I would hold my breath because the smell of it is what was making me gag. But I was concentrating on -- I was just looking at -- off, just trying to concentrate on something and just chew it up and swallow it the best I could. I gagged on my first bite.

FEAR FACTOR: Was there any point where you wanted to quit?

STACEY LEE: Oh, no. I didn't want to quit at any point. I don't want to let my state down. I'm doing this for Michigan.
