Fear Factor siblings contestant Erica Marquez Olivares had to catch ground up scorpions, nightcrawlers, superworms, red worms, millipedes, lobster roaches, and crickets using only her mouth and then spit it onto a scale.
FEAR FACTOR: How bad did the ground worms and insects taste?
ERICA: I tried not to swallow anything and that taste is still in my mouth. It's just disgusting. I even threw away my toothbrush. That's how gross it was. I just brushed and brushed and nothing. It's still there. It's just gross.
FEAR FACTOR: How did you feel watching your sister during the stunt?
ALFREDO: I felt bad 'cause she's my older sister and her just taking all that gooey stuff in her mouth; I felt bad.
FEAR FACTOR: Erica, tell me what it felt like waiting for that stuff to come through the grinder and what it felt like hitting your face.
ERICA: Well, the first couple of pieces that came down were just kinda brushing off my cheek and I couldn't really catch it 'cause he didn't put a lot in there. After him taking three of 'em, uh, three big mouthfuls in there and grinding, that's when it started coming out and Joe was just like, "Keep it in your mouth! Keep it in your mouth! Keep it in your mouth! You know, fill it -- fill it up! Fill it up!". That's all I got to say. It's just disgusting for it to come down. Some of the pieces were really, uh, hard and they were hitting your face and in your mouth. Uh, ew, it was gross. It was gross.
