BURY SPOUSES HEAD IN WORMS

It's not often, in a relationship, that you get encouraged to spit up worms on your spouses head. But Fear Factor Couples contestant Melissa cheered on her boyfriend Jim as he scooped up mouthfuls of nightcrawlers and completely covered her head with a combination of worms, worm poop and Jim's throw-up.

FEAR FACTOR: What did the worms look like?

JIM: Walking in I didn't know what to expect, really. But when Joe revealed the worms, the worms were like the size of snakes.

MELISSA: They were disgusting-looking. It was horrible.

JIM: And I was, like, "what are we gonna have to with these worms?" I seen a box and I seen a bowl of thousands and thousands of worms. And the worst part about it was all the crap that they were crapping in the bowl. It was sickening. It was absolutely gross.

FEAR FACTOR: Did the smell of the worms make you nauseas?

JIM: I tell you, from the time I seen the worms, I just had knots in my stomach. I felt like I was gonna puke and I didn't even do anything yet. When you're watching it at home, you don't really realize how bad it stinks. It was awful, it was just a wretched, wretched smell.

MELISSA: Stick your face in a diaper and just hold it there for a while, and then put it up your nose and then sit there for a couple more hours with it. That's what it's like.

FEAR FACTOR: How did you decide who would be buried and who would do the burying?

JIM: Well, the decision was kinda easy. Like, I have a bigger mouth than her.

MELISSA: And he just inhales his food.

FEAR FACTOR: What was your strategy for picking up the worms with your mouth?

JIM: Basically, I was using my mouth as a vacuum, like a suction. And I would stick my head in and I would just suck as hard as I could and get as many in my mouth as I could. And when I sucked the one time, a bunch of worms went down my throat. And I wasn't prepared to swallow things. I mean, I know on the show, you gotta swallow stuff, but I wasn't prepared at that moment to swallow the worms. So basically, I spit what I could on her head, and I should've threw up on her head. But I basically threw up into the bowl. So I just vacuumed up my puke and then I spit that back on her head. And I think that's when Joe almost threw up.

MELISSA: I didn't just get puke on my head, I got spit-out puke, sucked-back-in puke, and then probably a little extra puke on top of that.

FEAR FACTOR: Would you ever do this stunt again?

MELISSA: No, no. That was the worst thing.

JIM: We did not enjoy that at all.
