TABLE CLEARING

Busboys usually clear tables in restaurants but odds are no busboy has ever cleared a table the Fear Factor way. Contestant Land Kligerman was chained to a stake in the ground in the relentless heat of the Mojave Desert and mashed his face into rotten fish sauce, thousands of superworms, and blended cow tongue. The object, use ones face to move aside these gross items to reveal a combination to unlock themselves for a chance at winning $50,000.

FEAR FACTOR: Did putting the various gross items in your mouth make you nauseous?

LAND KLIGERMAN: This was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever done in my life. I definitely threw up afterwards.

FEAR FACTOR: Why were you having trouble freeing yourself from the combination locks?

LAND KLIGERMAN: The one problem I had was with the first lock I forgot to put it in consecutive order from lowest to highest. I definitely think I could have gotten under two minutes if I hadn't done that.

FEAR FACTOR: Which table was the worst?

LAND KLIGERMAN: The grossest thing was probably the ground up rotten fish. That sticks to your hair so bad and you just can't get the smell off you. You can't get it out of your eyes, out of your nose. It's going in your teeth even and it's just, it's disgusting.

FEAR FACTOR: What was the consistency of the cow tongue?

LAND KLIGERMAN: The cow tongue was pretty gross. It was really thick.
