Milk the Goat

Even if you grew up on a farm, chances are you've never milked a goat Fear Factor-style. Contestant Hyden Yoo recalls what it was like to get a glassful of milk from a stinky goat using only his mouth.

FEAR FACTOR: What did you think when you were told you were going to have to get milk from a goat using only your mouth?

HYDEN YOO: When I walked up there I definitely thought that this was by far the craziest thing that I've ever done or that I will ever have to do. I was just kind of in shock that I had to do something crazy like this, but, you know, whatever.

FEAR FACTOR: So how tough was it?

HYDEN YOO: I was just sucking on the nipple and doing my best. But I was sucking and nothing was coming out, nothing was in my mouth. It was just dry and it was just nothing but spit. I thought I had some and I went to the cup and spit it out, but it was just pretty much spit.

FEAR FACTOR: So, as you kept going over there and spitting and you're getting nothing out, you look over to your opponent and you see his glass filling up.

HYDEN YOO: To be honest, I never even looked at his glass. I didn't even think about that. I was just thinking about myself and trying to take this milk out. It's either you do it or you don't and my technique must have been off. The milk didn't come out for me.

FEAR FACTOR: Did it help you at all that you got to watch other contestants do it before you did?

HYDEN YOO: I followed their technique. I watched them and watched how far they put their mouth on the nipple. Obviously, it didn't help me at all. Maybe the goat didn't like me, but it just didn't work out.
