STUNT: ELECTRIC MAZE
LOCATION: SAN PEDRO POWER STATION, SAN PEDRO, CA
DESCRIPTION: Handcuffed together, a couple must make their way through a 40-ft maze of hundreds of electrified wires collecting four flags attached to the wires as they go. To complete the stunt, they will have to secure the flags to an electrified hitching post at the end of the maze. The couple that takes the greatest amount of time to complete the stunt will be eliminated.
FEAR FACT
- Each wire in the maze packed a punch of electricity.
- The metal handcuffs used in the stunt acted as a conductor, ensuring that each time a contestant was shocked their partner would also feel it.
- A team of three electrical engineers and two consultants where brought on board to make sure that the stunt was a safe but shocking experience for the contestants.
