Once you sign up, a message containing a confirmation link will be sent to the email address you gave us during registration. When you receive this message, click on the link and your email address will be automatically verified and you can login.
If you don't see the email verification in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes the little electronic postman gets confused and accidentally delivers our emails there. If this happens, be sure to add us to your "Safe Senders" list.
The email address you provided during registration and confirmed is your login ID. You must log in using your email address. Also, please remember that your password is case sensitive. If you've forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
If you're sure you've got the correct login details and are still experiencing trouble, click "Help" and a member of our tech support team will contact you shortly.
You can edit your personal information by click "Account Settings" and updating the information stored there. If you edit your account settings on any NBC site, the changes will be reflected to your account.
However, your profiles are a different story. One of the neat things about NBC Communities is that you have unique profile pages for every community you join. If you edit your myNBC profile, those changes won't affect your Dunder Mifflin Infinity profile, so you'll need to edit each one independently. If you'd like to edit your profile, click "Edit" in the "myPROFILE" section of the navigation to update your modules and profile information.
Ahh, yes. You wish to dip your toe into the awesome realm of the blogosphere! You are in luck! Every myNBC profile includes a fully functional blog module that displays on your profile page.
To add a new blog post, click the "edit" icon in the top right corner of the blog module on your profile page. The new page will allow you to write, edit, and post the entry to your profile. Be sure to have the blog module activated in your account settings so that other users can read your posts! See "How do I add more modules to my profile?" for more information.
Most of the modules on your myNBC profile allow you to edit what's displayed there, like featured photos and videos, blogs, and comments. These modules can also be moved around and arranged on your page to suit your tastes. The icon on the far right (that looks like pen and paper) is the "Edit" button, which allows you to update the content that appears in that module. The icon to its left (that looks like four arrows) is the "Move" icon. You can click the Move button and drag the module anywhere on your profile page.
Modules that do not have these buttons are either not editable (e.g. What's New?) or unmovable (e.g. About Me).
The "hiring" process actually involves us sending you an email to confirm the email address you provided us during the registration process. If you're an existing member of an NBC Community, you should receive an email confirming your employment. If you're signing up for the first time, you'll receive an email asking you to verify your address before receiving a job confirmation email.
If you're not seeing any emails from us in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes the little electronic postman gets confused and delivers our messages there instead of your inbox. If that happens, be sure to add us to your "Safe Senders" list.
You can update your profile information by clicking the "Employee Profile" link in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Clicking that link will take you to your profile homepage, which only you can see.
From here, you can add or change your profile, by clicking the buttons underneath the main menu bar at the top of the screen. For example, to change your Office favorites, click the "My Office Faves" button. To upload photos, click the "Photos" button.
If you'd like to locate other members of your branch, click the "My Branch" link in the main menu bar. There, you'll see a list of other employees in your branch. Click on anyone's profile photo to be taken to that user's profile. To add them as a friend, click the "Add this Employee" button under their profile photo on the profile page.
To reach out beyond your own branch, click the "Company Directory" link on the main menu bar for a list of all the regional branches. Click on any branch to see its members.
Go to http://www.insidebuymore.com and click "Choose Your Shirt" to register. You'll be asked for some basic information and asked to verify your email address. Once your email has been confirmed, you can customize your profile by adding photos, modules and other information about yourself.
If you're already a member of an NBC Community, simply click the "Join" button underneath the login box and sign in using your NBC login details.
For all intents and purposes, on IBM, there is no difference. Buy More employees get a green badge, while Nerd Herd employees get a red badge. Philosophically, however, there's a huge difference. Buy More employees are focused more on retail sales, while the Nerd Herd "helps" customers with technology repair.
If you've watched the show, you know that each group represents a different set of core values, so you should pick the one that aligns most with your beliefs about customer service and electronic sales.
The Biggest Loser League is a social networking site for fans of the NBC show, "The Biggest Loser." The League is designed to help fans meet their own weight-loss goals. On this site, users can interact with other fans, compete in league challenges, share tips and track their weight loss progress.
The goal of the League is to be a supportive and helpful community for those trying to make positive lifestyle changes and drop pounds along the way.
As we said before, the goal of the League is to be a supportive place for people to express themselves. Because this site deals with the sensitive issues of weight, weight loss and body image, it's imperative that members speak to each other in a respectful tone and with a mutual understanding that everyone is here for the same reason: to make their lives better through positive lifestyle changes.
Any member who is found to be purposefully malicious towards other users will have disciplinary action taken against their account.

Once you sign up, a message containing a confirmation link will be sent to the email address you listed during registration. Once you receive this message, click on the link and your email address will be automatically verified and you can begin using The Biggest Loser League.
If you don't see the email verification in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes the little electronic postman gets confused and accidentally delivers our emails there. If this happens, be sure to add us to your "Safe Senders" list.
The league commissioner will occasionally set up teams. It's just another way to group people so that they can interact. Also, in addition to the League-down challenges, team leaders can issue challenges to their team members. You can join a team if you want, but don't feel like you have to. You do not have to be on a team to complete the league challenges or vie for a spot on the leaderboard.
More team-related information is on the way, so check back to the site and the message boards for updates.
For right now, points earn you a spot on the leaderboard. In time, you'll be able to trade in your points for goodies on the site.
Check back to the site and message boards for an update on points.
Creating a calorie deficit in your diet can help you lose fat. A calorie deficit simply means that you burn more than you intake. According to the National Institutes of Health,* it takes a deficit of 3,500 calories to burn a pound of fat. To figure out the calorie deficit for your total weight loss, we take the pounds you want to lose and multiply it by 3,500. For example, if you are 10 pounds from your weight-loss goal, that would equal a 35,000 calorie deficit to burn those 10 pounds of fat. It's impossible to come close to meeting your deficit in a day or even a week, but it will help you determine how many calories you need burn each day to hit your goal in time.
