Attending Physician Dr. Susan Lewis left Chicago to live near her sister's family in Phoenix for five years. Soon after her return to County General, she accepted the position of Chief of Emergency Medicine when Weaver became Chief of Staff.
On a whim during a trip to Las Vegas, Lewis married Chicago paramedic, Chuck. While the marriage was anulled, the two continue to see each other socially, as well as work together.
