Millions of viewers around the world have noticed Patricia Kara starring as NBC's "Deal or No Deal" Case Model #9 since the show debuted in 2005. Having been voted, along with her costars, one of People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People, Kara (a.k.a. Trisha Kara) is looking forward to another life-changing season this year.

In addition to "Deal or No Deal," Patricia has worked as a correspondent on Fox Movie Channel, Extra, Celebtv and the TV Guide Channel. She reported from the red carpet at the Catherine Zeta-Jones Benefit for the Motion Picture and Television Fund and has hosted E! Entertainment's "Wild On: Kentucky Derby," the U.S. Surf Open, and "Your L.A."

Theatrically, Kara has guest starred in hit shows such as NBC's "Las Vegas," "All of Us," "Passions," "Mad TV," and "The Young and the Restless," and in the upcoming feature films "Two-Eleven" and "The Box," which are currently entered in film festivals around the world. She has also appeared in commercials for companies like Coors Light, Old Navy, Bally's Fitness, Kohls, Ericsson Mobile, V8, Pala Casino and Edison Power.

Kara's modeling portfolio includes print ads for AT&T, Suave, Swiffer, Venus Swimwear, 24-Hour Fitness, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Nesquick, Disney, Reebok and Snickers. Her images have adorned the covers and pages of Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Redbook, Shape, Fitness Magazine, Forbes, Sports Illustrated, Bride, Day Spa, Women's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, Fitness RX, Let's Live, Endless Vacation, Stuff, Maxim, and the book Sculpting Her Body Perfect.

She is involved with charitable organizations as well: the Make a Wish Foundation, the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation, the Salvation Army, the American Heart Assoiciation, Read Across America, Misericordia, the Tiger Woods Foundation and the Dennis Quaid Foundation.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she was attracted to the entertainment industry when she was a teenager. Since then, her career has allowed her to live and travel all over the world. Besides visiting family and her native Greece, Kara uses her time away from work and charity to expand her horizons. The performing arts, outdoor action sports, world travel, photography, and exercise are just a few of the additional interests that round out this free-spirited beauty.

Questionnaire

1. Are there particular qualities you like in a contestant?
I love when the contestants have high energy or have a great story and are genuine and sincere.

2. Do you have a favorite contestant, and who was it?
I really don't have a favorite contestant. We've had so many great people on the show that it's difficult to have just one.

3. How tough is it to stand in place for the entire taping? Is there something like martial arts training for long-term smiling?
The more interesting and fun the contestant is, the easier it is to stand in place for a long time. I don't even realize how much time has gone by.

4. What was your most embarrassing moment on the show?
My most embarrassing moment on the show is when my briefcase dropped, opened and dented. I felt so bad. Luckily that was edited out and never aired.

5. What would you like to be doing next in your career?
I would like to be hosting my own show or doing more comedic acting or maybe even both.

6. What do you like doing most with your free time?
What I like to do most in my free time is travel, dance, boating and lots of other fun stuff.

7. What one person, besides your parents, has had the most influence on your life? Why?
My sister, Joanna has had the most influence in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for her. She is my second mom, best friend, hairdresser, accountant and much much more. She is an amazing woman!

8. Where are you from originally? (If not from Los Angeles) What brought you to Los Angeles?
I was born and raised in Chicago. My parents and siblings are from Greece so I grew up going back and forth. I moved to Los Angeles because of work and the weather.

9. What has been a particularly memorable experience in your life, something that really stood out?
The most memorable experience in my life is when I lived in New York. It was the most peaceful time in my life. I learned a lot about myself. I have always felt a strong connection to NY.

10. Now for the important questions: what was your favorite television show when you were ten?
My favorite television show at ten was "Fame." I wanted to go to a school just like that and dance all day.
