Lindsay grew up on a ranch near Lincoln, Nebraska. For one year of her life, she was actually raised in a barn where her dad built a temporary apartment for her family while their house was being built.
In high school, she was on the dance team and also ran track where she ran hurdles and relays. But more importantly, she was the Nebraska state champion in barrel racing, a rodeo event where riders race horses around three barrels. Lindsay won her first trophy when she was eight, and from then on she was a full-time cowgirl!
Her whole family traveled around the Midwest competing for about ten years. Her dad is also an amazing horse trainer, which might have a small part in the reason why her two younger sisters kicked so much butt! And last, but certainly not least, Lindsay can raise one eyebrow up at a time, a talent she inherited from her grandfather.
