My name is Kelly Brannigan. I was born September 18th, 1982 in Torrance, California where I lived with my father, Mark, until I was eleven years old. Sadly, he passed away in 1993 and I had to move to a really small town called Auburn in Upstate New York.

Modeling has always been my passion and I recently decided to move to Los Angeles to give it a true shot. I really owe so much to a dear friend of my father who has helped me so much threw my transition from N.Y. to L.A. He is really my angel.

Although I have had limited modeling experience, the past year and a half in L.A. has been extraordinary! Since I’ve had the pleasure to start working with some of the best in my industry.

I have several hidden talents. I can sing (and not only in the shower!). I sang opera all through high school and was the leader of my class. Cooking is one of my many passions. I went to cooking school for two years at Monroe C.C. and studied food service and hospitality. Realizing that cooking was more than a hobby, I enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America for Pastry Arts. But modeling called…

People think of me as a very independent, determined woman. I got emancipated at the age of 16 and have been on my own ever since.

I was voted ‘Biggest Flirt’ in high school (though I have no idea why…lol!). And by the looks of me, you would say “where’s that girl from?”

Some people think I’m Italian, some think I’m Latin, but actually my mother is from a tiny town in Central America called Placentia and my dad was Irish. What a mix!!!!

My modeling career is beginning to take off and I look forward to sharing it with all of you!

Questionnaire

1.Where are you from originally? (If not from Los Angeles) What brought you to Los Angeles?
I was originally born in Torrance C.A. But in 1993, I moved to Auburn N.Y. (very small town). And have been back in California two and a half years.

2. How did it feel when you found out you’d been selected as a Deal or No Deal model? What excites you most about being on the show?
When I got the call to be on Deal or No Deal my whole life changed! I had no money and I just moved to California. I didn’t know what way my life would go and I was ready to give up and move back to N.Y. Then I got the call. First I cried lol. Then I knew everything would be ok for me. Everything about Deal excites me! The hair, the make up, the lights, all the people! I feel like I made it!

3. Do you have your previous experience with modeling or show business, and if so, what is it?
I have only been modeling for the year and a half that I have lived in California. I have done some small things here and there, but nothing like Deal or No Deal.

4. What one person, besides your parents, has had the most influence on your life? Why?
The person who had the most influence on me would have to be My Aunt Mary. When my father passed away in 1993, she was the person who took me in and helped me. She loved me as if I was her own daughter and taught me so much about life, love, and about who I wanted to be. She is the most giving and kind woman I know and would do anything for anyone. She is so strong and so beautiful and I owe so much to her.

5. What has been a particularly memorable experience in your life, something that really stood out?
My most memorable experience was not a good one. It would have to be when my father passed away. It changed my life.

6. What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
It might sound funny But .. In ten years I’d really like to be married and have some kids. That’s it =)

7. What is your favorite place to travel?
My favorite place to travel is pebble Beach! It’s beautiful

8. What was your favorite television show when you were ten?
At the age of ten and now I have always watched cooking shows. My TV. never leaves the food network!

9. What is your favorite sports team and/or favorite music group?
I dot have a favorite sports team or music group because I don’t watch sports, and I like way to many groups to pick just one!
