Cause of death: single slash wound to throat, consistent with straight razor.

- Bloodstains on pillowcase indicate lack of struggle with attacker.
Analysis/Lab Work
- Traces of shaving cream in blood, possibly off murder weapon.
- Blood alcohol content of victim was point one three.
- Light bruising on knuckles.

Case details: Girl disappeared from playground in Alston. Found raped and mutilated 10 days later.

- DNA found on Vicim's blouse, inconclusive. (Three out of five STR loci match to previously convicted suspect)

- Dirt from child's jacket subjected to Gas Chromatograph with Mass Spectrometer. Dirt analysis revealed standard mix of chemical and organic matter plus Dicumyl Peroxide.
