Location of Body: Brockton, near Highway 31
Time of death: 12-24 hours prior to locating body, based on rigor and body temp
Physical Evidence:
- Bruising on chest and knees, possible impact or restraint injury
- Bruising patterns indicate victim was passenger, not driver
- Bruising width and pattern match Porter 6430 strap found in 4-wheel drive trucks, years 1989 t0 1994.
- Massive injuries also consistent with impact
- Semen present, consistent with consensual sex
- DNA results confirm that semen was not that of victim's husband
Conclusions: Victim was in a high-impact car crash.
Victim Two
Name: James Marsh
Gender: M Age: Unknown
Location of Body: Lester Marsh residence rubble - post explosion
Time of death: at least a year ago
Physical Evidence:
- Advanced osteoporosis
- Dental records on charred remains led to positive I.D. of decedent
Conclusions: Victim not homeowner, Lester Marsh, as originally thought. Is in fact, James Marsh, who was buried on property and expelled during explosion.
