Monster Truck Driving
- During the 2007 season, more than 4 million people attended Monster Jam events.
- Every year, 700,000 cubic yards of dirt are used to put on Monster Jam events.
- Bob Chandler and George Carpenter formed the Monster Truck Racing Association in 1988.
- Monster trucks usually are 11 feet tall and 12 feet wide and must weigh a minimum of 9,000 pounds, but some can weight up to 12,000 pounds.
- Monster trucks usually crush cars, vans, buses, motor homes, airplanes, and ambulances that are attained from local junkyards and returned after the events. More than 3,000 cars are crushed each year.
